Born in Brighton and raised in Sussex, Richard has a wealth of experience across a wide variety of business sectors.
Richard holds a Certificate in Commercial and Business Transfer from the ICBA and is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents
Having started his own company at a young age, he has been working with local businesses for over 30 years. In the highly competitive world of support services, Richard was able to build a successful and profitable firm, which he sold as a going concern in order to concentrate exclusively on commercial property.
Richard’s background ensures that he understands the pressures of business development and gives rise to an obvious empathy with local companies seeking to grow. This allows him to offer relevant, meaningful advice which our clients can immediately relate to.
Richard has been working as a Commercial Property agent since the Millennium and in that time has developed an enviable reputation as a “deal maker”, accurately matching requirements with available properties. Our Clients value his unbiased and informed advice about the marketplace as well as his ability to secure the very best deals on their behalf.
In addition to Agency, Richard also deals with business transfer and has successfully marketed a wide variety of businesses for sale in the Wealden area.
Richard is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and is one of a select few to have passed their specialist course in Commercial Estate Agency, earning his Certificate in Commercial and Business Transfer.
In his spare time Richard enjoys all motor related sports and has been seen travelling to the office on his motorbike, although he confesses to be a fair weather biker only. He jointly hosts the Uckfield Curry Club which has become an incredibly well attended social and business event for the town.
