Oldfield Smith & Co have well established COVID-safe working practices
With legal restrictions relating to COVID being lifted today, Oldfield Smith & Co have reviewed our working practices and our own risk assessments. We welcome the additional freedoms which the vaccine programme has allowed, but our primary concern remains the safety and wellbeing of our staff and the people we work with. As a result, we will continue to operate safely and in accordance with best practice and Government guidance.
Over the course of the pandemic we have developed systems of safe working which have served us well, protecting our staff and our clients. Although we may not be mandated to continue to operate in this way, doing so has become second nature and does not adversely impact upon the services we offer or the efficiency of of our work. Our management team have therefore decided to retain our current protective measures and continue with our COVID-safe policies.
Our staff are pleased to be back in the office because we enjoy working together as a team. However, they also feel safe as they have been actively involved in developing our COVID polices and the physical changes we have made to our workspace. Our staff are vaccinated and we have procedures in place for regular testing. All staff retain the option of remote working and our IT systems allow us to transition seamlessly. Our clients can therefore be assured that whatever challenges we face as the country leaves lockdown, Oldfield Smith & Co will be there to provide balanced, professional advice and the high level of service for which we are known.
